UWSCollege has a new degree becoming available in 2012. The Associate Degree in Creative Industries is an award of the University of Western Sydney, which has been developed by UWSCollege in association with the University of Western Sydney’s College of Business and Law, College of Arts and Communication and College of Management.
This new Associate Degree will give emerging mid-career artists and creative industries professionals the opportunity to learn invaluable ground knowledge in areas such as business management, entrepreneurship and innovation whilst supporting as they pursue their artistic passions.
The creative industries umbrella is vast indeed. It includes Interactive and Digital Design; Music and Performing Arts; Film, Television and Radio; Writing and Publishing; Advertising and Marketing; Media and Communications and Visual Arts. There really is something in this degree for everyone!
The course is full time and has a two year duration, with HECS-HELP available for 30 positions, it’s all the more an incentive to get your place locked in early. Applications for this fantastic degree close on December 1st, 2011.
